Overcenter Valves
Counterbalance valves or overcenter valves belong to the group of load holding valves and are used when negative, pulling loads must be held safely and moved in a controlled manner. During operation, a pressure is generated in the inlet and also a load pressure. This load pressure causes the lowering brake valve to open and the drive then moves at the required speed. Overcenter valves are mainly used in hydraulic motors or hydraulic cylinders.
